Huang Xiaowei Visits CWU Volunteers for Beijing 2022
January 30, 2022Huang Xiaowei, Secretary of the Leading Party Members' Group and Vice-President and First Member of the Secretariat of the All-China Women's Federation (ACWF), went to China Women's University (CWU) on January 30 to visit volunteers for the Beijing 2022 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games and teachers and students who stayed at the school during Spring Festival.
On behalf of Shen Yueyue, Vice-Chairperson of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress and President of the ACWF, Huang extended Spring Festival greetings to the teachers and students and urged them to keep in mind the important instructions of General Secretary Xi Jinping on hosting the Beijing 2022 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games, make positive contributions to the Games, show a sense of responsibility and demonstrate the spirit of women in the new era.
A total of 99 teachers and students volunteered for the Games. Huang highly affirmed the enthusiasm of the teachers and students and encouraged them to contribute their strength to the Games with cheerful and thoughtful voluntary service. She also asked them to protect themselves from the epidemic and stay warm.
Huang urged the university to provide services and support for its volunteers, and give top priority to epidemic prevention and control.
Cai Shumin, Vice-President and Member of the Secretariat of the ACWF, participated in the visit.
